Fixture 8
Tottenham (1-2) Cheslea
Scorer(s)
Alonso 24',88'
Batshuayi (OG) 82'
The first London derby in the Premier League this season ended in dramatic fashion as a late goal secured Champions Chelsea their first win of the season against a resilient Tottenham side.
This defeat for Spurs was their first home defeat at their new home, the Wembley Stadium this season as they lost their 2nd consecutive game against Cheslea in all competitions.
Chelsea took the lead through a gorgeous free kick scored by Marcos Alonso in the 24th minute, the defenders first of the season.
Then on, the game went back and forth. Spurs striker Harry Kane saw his powerful effort strike the post as did the same for Chelsea midfielder Willian.
However, the breakthrough came from an unlikely source after a Christian Eriksen free-kick saw Chelsea substitute Michy Batshuayi score at the wrong end to draw Spurs level.
Spurs began looking for the winner but after losing possession in their own half, a Chelsea attack once again saw Marcos Alonso strike a tight angle shot, beating Hugo Lloris at his near post and hand Chelsea their first win of the season.
Chelsea have to push on from their first win and prepare for next week's game as they and Spurs are now level on points. The happiest people in the stadium would surely have been Batshuayi and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte. Spurs' season at home hasn't begun as per their expectations despite their decent performance. Now they will have to quickly move on and prepare next for Burnley.
Fixture 9
Huddersfield Town (1-0) Newcastle United
Scorer(s)

Huddersfield Town have begun a dream debut campaign in their first ever Premier League season. They beat fellow promoted side Newcastle to win their first home game in the PL.
The goal was a magical moment in the game scored by Aaron Mooy from the edge of the penalty area after playing a neat one-two with Elias Kachunga.
This result ensures Huddersfield's hundred percent record in the PL, 2 consecutive wins and vitally two clean sheets which will greatly encourage their defense. They handsomely sit in 2nd place joint top on points with Manchester United and West Brom.
For Newcastle, it's now no points after 2 consecutive defeats and sit in 17th, one place over the relegation zone
