On the 12th of July 2017, Brazilian right back Dani Alves completed his move to French giants PSG from Italian Serie A Champions Juventus after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
He was on the verge of signing with English club Manchester City but changed his mind at the last moment. At 34, he may still be among the best right backs in Europe and now brings his experience and winning mentality to Paris.
Alves was a popular favorite during his time at Barcelona, making 391 appearances and scoring an impressive 21 goals with a whopping 102 assists. With Barcelona, he has won 6 La Liga trophies, 5 Spanish Cups, 6 Super Cups and 3 Champions League titles!
After an 8 year career with Barcelona, he joined Italian giants Juventus which lasted for just a single season. He made 33 appearances, scoring 6 goals and registering 7 assists helping them win the Serie A title and reach the Champions League final.
With PSG he looks a completely different player, ready for challenges and hungry for success. In his debut game, the Ligue 1 Super Cup, he managed to score on his debut in the form of a gorgeous free kick to equalize against Monaco. He also produced an assist for Rabiot which eventually won the trophy, Alves' 34th career title.
In his Ligue 1 debut, he produced an assist for Edinson Cavani which marked PSG's first goal of their League campaign.
Alves' presence in the side may have already announced the end of Serge Aurier's PSG career as he looks set to join a Premier League side. Alves will be a strong player for at least 2 seasons and will definitely win trophies with his new club.

Yuri Berchiche was PSG's first high profile signing of this transfer window when he completed his transfer from Real Sociedad on the 7th of July 2017. He is yet to make his debut for the club after staying out of the first team squad for the past three games.
Berchiche had a fantastic season with Sociedad last year as he made 35 appearances, scoring thrice and assisting four times. Out of them, he managed to complete 90 minutes in 33 appearances.
PSG were lacking options at left full back after the retirement of Maxwell at the end of the season and Berchiche did convince the club to sign him. The main reason would be his relatively small transfer fee especially in this expensive market.
For a first choice in the starting XI, he will face fierce competition from Layvin Kurzawa who is a offensive fullback. Berchiche may be used for defensive games whenever cover would be needed on the left.
It won't be long until he makes his debut for the club, also has Champions League football and will greatly help PSG's cause towards their League and European ambitions this season.
