Newly promoted Huddersfield Town had a dream start in their debut PL campaign, getting 7 points in their first 3 games. Credit goes to their strong defense who kept 3 clean sheets and new summer signing on the other end, Steve Mounie.

Mounie scored 14 goals in 35 Ligue 1 appearances at Montpellier last season & is a bargain at £12 Million. He already struck a brace on the opening day and will be Huddersfield Town's key performer to guide them towards survival this season.

For the past 6 seasons, West Ham were looking for a centre forward who could be first choice every week. Now, they have finally found a proven PL goalscorer, Javier Hernandez to lead the team's attack for the season.
Chicharito is a 2-time PL winner with Manchester United, scored 39 goals in a 105 PL appearances including a brace in GW 2. Although West Ham are 20th in the PL, they will slowly start finding their form and Chicharito will inspire them to a number of victories this season.

Wayne Rooney's return to boyhood club Everton was perhaps the most memorable transfer of the summer window. The 31-year old striker broke Sir Bobby Charlton's goal scoring record last season with Manchester United & decided to make the move to Merseyside this summer.



Rooney made 559 appearances for Man Utd, scoring 253 goals in a 13-year spell. With Everton, he has made 78 appearances, scoring 17 goals; 2 of them this season marking his 200th Premier League goal. He's leadership & winning mentality will influence Everton's Premier League and European ambitions this season.

On deadline day, Arsenal lost a major player from their squad as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain made his transfer to Liverpool. He rejected a new contract offer after being played out of position and signed for Liverpool for a fee rising to £40 Million.
Chamberlain's pace and goal threat through the middle will give Liverpool's attack a whole new dimension this season. He has made 132 PL appearances, scoring 9 goals & adding 18 assists. He is among the greatest Liverpool signings this summer.

Champions Chelsea missed out on a number of first choice transfer targets this summer especially in attack. This led them to make an early club record transfer for Spanish striker Alvaro Morata who could turn out to be their best signing yet.
Morata has an impressive goal scoring record with a combined 58 goals for Real Madrid & Juventus. He has already scored 2 goals in both of Chelsea's home games this season and is slowly turning into a lethal striker in the Premier League.

PL biggest spenders this season Manchester City have made quality defensive additions for expensive transfer fees this season. Their best addition would be at left back after Benjamin Mendy signed for £52 Million making him the most expensive defender in the world.
The France international won the Ligue 1 title & reached the Champions League semi-finals last season with Monaco. He made his first PL start against Bournemouth in GW 3 and after settling into life will soon be recognized among the greatest left backs in the PL.

Jordan Pickford's arrival from Sunderland was perhaps Everton's greatest transfer this season. His £26 Million fee makes him the most expensive British goalkeeper of all time and a long term replacement for the Toffees.



Pickford made 34 appearances in the PL, including 3 this season keeping a clean sheet in the first game. He will influence Everton's defense & attack with his long range distribution to the forwards and will find great success with the club.

Manchester United had a disappointing PL campaign last season finishing 6th. They were lacking 2 players in 2 major positions, one being a striker. Hence, they splashed out the cash by signing former Everton front man Romelu Lukaku for a potential fee rising to £90 Million.



He has made 189 PL appearances, scoring 88 goals, including 3 goals this season. Lukaku was thought to arrive as a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic but he has now signed a one-year deal with the club. Manchester United's attack has gotten a whole lot better.

The 2nd most impressive summer signing this season came at Liverpool when Mohamed Salah signed for a £38 Million fee. Salah could be the best dribbler in the PL and his arrival adds pace, creativity and a fierce goal threat to the Liverpool attack.
Salah previously played for Chelsea in the PL, making 16 appearances, scoring twice & getting 2 assists. This season in his 3 PL appearances, he has already added 2 goals & 2 assists. Salah's arrival has taken Liverpool's attack to the next level.

Nemanja Matic

Hands down, the greatest transfer this season came at Manchester United when midfielder Nemanja Matic signed for a £40 Million fee. He will now play under manager Jose Mourinho who had previously signed him at Chelsea.
Matic is a 2-time PL winner with Chelsea, making 126 PL appearances, scoring 4 goals and registering 17 assists. Although, he hasn't scored or assisted for his new club, in his 3 appearances, his presence has added solidarity to United's defensive midfield which was lacking since a long time.

United are sure to make a title challenge this season and Jose Mourinho may have found the perfect piece to the puzzle he needed to finally take the team to the next level.
