Man City began this weekend's action in style after a 5-0 thrashing of Liverpool to temporarily move them top of the table handing Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp his heaviest PL defeat.
The scoring began after Sergio Aguero yet again found the net against Liverpool after rounding off past Simon Mignolet via a De Bruyne pass.
The decisive moment of the game came in the 37th minute after Sadio Mane was shown a straight red card after kicking Ederson in the face further increasing Liverpool's first half misery.
In the second half, City's man advantage paid off as Gabriel Jesus headed home De Bruyne's cross. He later scored his second goal of the night after finishing Aguero's squared pass.
Substitute Leroy Sane later joined the party by netting a brace; first a neat one-two with Benjamin Mendy & a curling stunning finish in stoppage.
City now on 10 points have high confidence going into their first CL game of the season in the week. Liverpool were poor in all departments especially after the sending off and need to improve come next week.

Stoke City & Manchester United fought a neck-and-neck thriller at the bet365 stadium which ended (2-2) after Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored a brace. He broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute after converting Mame Biram Diouf's cross marking United's first conceded goal of the season.
United immediately equalized in first half stoppage time after a Paul Pogba header's final touch came off Marcus Rashford.
Romelu Lukaku made it 2-1 in the second half; scoring his 4th goal of the season, giving United the lead following up on his saved shot by Jack Butland.
But Stoke had the final laugh after Choupo-Moting found himself on the end of Xherdan Shaqiri's cross to bring the game back on level terms.
United were denied the chance of moving 2 points clear of their closest rivals, however they remain joint top on points along with neighbors Man City. Stoke have taken 4 points in their last 2 Home games this season; against Arsenal & Man United.

Tottenham got back to winning ways after a dominant 3-0 win at Everton. Harry Kane ended his goal scoring doubt by breaking the deadlock in the 28th minute after a surprise cross turned goal looping over the head of Jordan Pickford.
Their lead was doubled before half-time as Christian Eriksen rebounded Ben Davies's shot on goal as Spurs began taking control of the game.
In the second half, Kane scored his 2nd goal of the game after converting Davies' cross helping the striker reach his 100th Premier League strike.
Spurs have now climbed up into 5th place as Everton's 2nd consecutive defeat has brought them down to 15th ahead of their mid-week European ties.
Brighton (3-1) West Brom

Brighton & Home Albion got a memorable maiden PL victory as they beat West Brom 3-1 at home with midfielder Pascal Grob stealing the show.
Grob scored Brighton's first ever top-flight goal to find space to slot home Solly March's cross to end the first half on a high. He later scored a stunning 25-yard strike in the 48th minute to further improve Brighton's chances to get their first win of the season.
Grob turned provider to provide Tomer Hemed to head Brighton's third goal of the game.
However, Brighton were denied a clean sheet as James Morrison brought one goal back via a close range shot but it wasn't enough as West Brom dropped down to 8th & Brighton climbed up to 13th on 4 points.
Leicester City (1-2) Chelsea

Current Premier League Champions Chelsea overcame former Champions Leicester City at the The King Power Stadium to win their 3rd consecutive League win.
Chelsea took the lead in the 41st minute, after Alvaro Morata netted his 3rd goal of the season by heading in Cezar Azpilicueta's perfect cross.
In the 2nd half, former Leicester City midfielder N'golo Kante scored Chelsea's second goal of the night via a low shot on goal.
Leicester replied through Jamie Vardy who scored a spot-kick in the 62nd minute after he was brought down in the box, but that wasn't enough as Chelsea moved to 3rd place in the table.
Arsenal (3-0) Bournemouth

After 2 losses in a row, Arsenal have returned back to winning ways after their comfortable 3-0 win against Bournemouth.
Danny Welbeck opened up the scoring in the 6th minute after bundling Sead Kolasinac's cross to give Arsenal an early lead & advantage.
Welbeck then set up Alexandre Lacazette who curled home a brilliant shot to score his 2nd goal of the season.
After the break, Aaron Ramsey played Danny Welbeck through on goal who finished the move into the far corner. It's bad news for Bournemouth who now have 4 losses in their first 4 games and are having a bad start to the season.
Southampton (0-2) Watford

Watford remain undefeated in the Premier League, securing their 2nd away win of the season and moving into the top 4 with their 2-0 victory against Southampton.
Midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure opened the scoring after firing a 25-yard low shot on goal in the 38th minute.
Daryl Janmaat scored an equally stunning goal on 66 minutes to make sure that Watford came home with the points.
