After Bournemouth registered their first win of the season last night against Brighton, this Saturday saw 14 teams face off against each other. A total of 14 goals were scored with just 3 teams managing to get 3 points. This included just one home win at St. James' Park.
4 teams managed to pick up clean sheets including a hard fought one by Swansea City. Man City were Saturday's highest scorers with 6 as Huddersfield managed to maintain their unbeaten home PL campaign. Let's get straight into the action.

Man City continued their stunning start to their PL season after their 0-6 domination of Watford to remain undefeated. This was Watford's first defeat of the season after 2D & 2L.
Sergio Aguero was City's star performer on the night, scoring a fantastic hat-trick. He opened up the scoring on the 27th minute, heading Kevin De Bruyne's free kick.
Aguero added City's & his 2nd just 4 minutes later, converting David Silva's pass to score from close range. Gabriel Jesus scored in his 3rd consecutive PL game to hand City a 0-3 advantage before half-time.
Nicolas Otamendi scored just after the hour mark via David Silva's assist & Aguero completed his hat-trick following a fine dribble and finish. Raheem Sterling won and scored a penalty late on to complete their dominant display.
This win has extended City's advantage over neighbors United by 3 points as they sit top with 13 points. Watford's loss had dropped them from 4th to 11th.
Newcastle United (2-1) Stoke City

Newcastle United have won their 3rd consecutive PL game for the season as they beat visiting Stoke City 2-1.
Christian Atsu handed Newcastle the lead on the 19th minute after finishing off Matt Ritchie's pass to score his first ever PL goal.
Stoke managed to find the equalizer in the 2nd half, after Xherdan Shaqiri showed fantastic ball control to curl a brilliant 30-yard low effort into the bottom corner.
But, Newcastle captain Jamal Lacelles scored the winner for the 2nd consecutive goal to head Ritchie's corner to get a lucky deflection off Kevin Wimmer. This result takes Newcastle up to 4th as Stoke drop to 13th in the table.
Liverpool (1-1) Burnley

Burnley managed to hold off Liverpool as the game ended with honors even to give the Burnley a precious point away from home. This point has put Burnley on 7th, one place above Liverpool both on 8 points.
Burnley were the first to take the lead on the night after Liverpool's lack-luster defending saw the ball reach Robbie Brady who's flick reached Scott Arfield who fired the ball into the bottom corner.
But, just 3 minutes later, Emre Can's pass reached Mohamed Salah who controlled and brought the ball down to smash Liverpool's equalizer.
In the 2nd half, Burnley keeper Nick Pope denied Liverpool on several occasions as Phillipe Coutinho & Dominic Solanke saw their efforts brilliantly saved. Liverpool are now win less in 3 games in all competitions & Burnley have won 5 points in their 3 away games against Chelsea, Spurs & Liverpool.
Crystal Palace (0-1) Southampton

Roy Hodgson began his managerial reign with Crystal Palace after suffering defeat at home to Southampton, leaving the Eagles with 5 consecutive losses and no goals scored yet in the PL.
With Palace dominating in the first 5 minutes, it was Southampton who took a surprising early lead as Steven Davis slotted Dusan Tadic's shot into the bottom corner.
Thereon, Palace had brilliant chances through Jason Puncheon & Christian Benteke but to no avail as Palace still sit in 20th on 0 points. Southampton move 9th in the table.
Tottenham (0-0) Swansea City
Tottenham's Wembley curse in the PL continues after they remain win less in 3 Home games this seasons, with a 0-0 draw against a defiant Swansea City side.
Harry Kane had the best chances on the night; first by a 40-yard free-kick & saw an effort hit the cross bar. Son Heung Min also tested goalkeeper Fabianski on a couple of occasions but no breakthrough.
Swansea City's excellent defensive display has handed them an impressive away point to bring them to 14th, 3 points below Spurs who sit in 5th.
Huddersfield Town (1-1) Leicester City

Huddersfield Town remain unbeaten at home in the PL this season after their 1-1 draw against former Champions Leicester City. This point keeps Huddersfield in 6th after Leicester move into 15th.
With no first half goals, Huddersfield struck immediately in the 2nd half as Laurent Depoitre who came in as a replacement for Steve Mounie, powered home his first goal for his new club.
But just 4 minutes later, Chris Lowe brought Andy King into the penalty box and the resulting penalty was converted by Jamie Vardy for his 4th goal of the season.
West Brom (0-0) West Ham United
West Brom and West Ham saw out a goal less draw at The Hawthorns as midfielder Gareth Barry equaled Ryan Giggs's all time- appearance record of 632 matches along with the first player to make 600 starts, making Premier League history.
Barry was handed West Brom's best chance of the night heading just over the roof of the goal. Pedro Obiang had the game's best chance on the night, a 40 yard strike ripple the crossbar.
The draw brings West Brom down to 10th and West Ham are still 18th but unbeaten in their last 2 games.
