The deal was confirmed on June 15th 2017. Everton had signed English goalkeeper Jordan Pickford from Sunderland on a five year contract for a mammoth fee of £30 Million. This made him the most expensive British goalkeeper and 3rd on the all time list of the most expensive fees paid for a goalkeeper.

Jordan has plenty of potential to become one of the best keepers in the Premier League. He was one of the fewer stars in Sunderland’s ill fated campaign last season and that’s the reason Everton made a prompt decision to snap him up. He has been on the radar of a number of English clubs in the Premier League including Everton’s bitter rivals Liverpool but no official bid was ever made. Everton believe in the talent that this young lad possesses and know how far he can go.
