Following a fantastic last season, Everton are now having one of their best transfer windows in a long time. Michael Keane’s signature from Burnley has been announced as their 5^th summer arrival.

Michael is a former Manchester United youth team player and now comes after a fantastic season with Burnley. Manchester United will also benefit from this deal by receiving 25% of the transfer fee due to a clause mentioned in his Burnley contract, an approximate £7.5 Million.

2016/17 Career Statistics:

Last year, he had his most successful professional season. He made 35 PL appearances, scoring 2 goals. His impressive display for Burnley also helped him earn an international call-up. Michael’s addition to the Everton squad will also bring a solid central defensive partnership for many more seasons.
