Premier League action resumes this Saturday with an absolute cracker of a game; the 51st North London derby in the Premier League era as fierce rivals Arsenal and Tottenham face-off in the early kick-off.

This fixture is all about pride and a desire to prove who is the better club in North London. But keeping these factors aside, it also holds big implications in the PL table which finds Tottenham sitting in 3rd on 23 points with Arsenal 3 places down below in 6th on 19 points.

Head-to-Head:

Played: 50 Games
Arsenal Wins: 18
Tottenham Wins: 11
Draws: 21

This record also shows that Arsenal has won 13 North London derby's at home and have been beaten twice by Spurs.

Team News:

Arsenal is expected to without Olivier Giroud for this game as they await late fitness tests for Shkodran Mustafi and Danny Welbeck.

Tottenham have no new injury concerns after Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Harry Winks, Hugo Lloris & Michel Vorm all returned back to first-team training after missing their mid-week international games.

But a major miss would be Toby Alderweireld at the heart of Tottenham's defense sidelined with a hamstring injury along with Victor Wanyama (knee).

Arsenal's Home Record:

Played: 6 Games
Wins: 6
Goals Scored: 13
Goals Conceded: 4
Clean Sheets: 3

Tottenham's Away Record:

Played: 5 Games
Wins: 4
Defeats: 1
Goals Scored: 12
Goals Conceded: 3
Clean Sheets: 3

Playing at home, Arsenal has a huge advantage to overcome their rivals and make it 6/6 Home wins for the season in the league which could be down to their influential attacking trio of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil & Alexandre Lacazette.

The trio who have been involved in 13 PL goals this season are expected to start alongisde with their combination of pace, technical passing vision and a fierce finishing ability.

Tottenham on their travels have also been ruthless in their attack scoring 12 times. Their ruthless trio of Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen & Harry Kane have all been directly involved in a total of 20 goals this season.

The man on Arsenal's radar would be Harry Kane who had featured in 5 North London derbys so far and has scored in all five of them.

Expected formations:

Arsenal are once again expected to play with their 3-5-2 formation which will enable them to utilize 6 of their players to build on their attack. Their fullbacks will be pushing high up the pitch to provide width down the wings but have a risk of getting exposed and being caught on the counter attack.

Tottenham also are expected to play with a 3-4-1-2 formation with Eriksen, Alli and Kane leading the line. But there is a possible formation which could work and they may consider switching to it at somepoint in the game. This modified 4-3-3 could help them go ahead for the win.

Prediction:
Arsenal (2-2) Tottenham
